Cycling three times a week for a total of forty eight minutes has been proven to help reduce the effects of aging. The study focused on 72 people of varying ages participating in three different types of exercise. After the workouts the scientists measured how the mitochondria was producing energy. The results were impressive, with the response jumping by 69 percent. Resistance training showed no change. It should be noted, the researches did have everyone walking to supplement the riding.
