Tom Brokaw: Learning to Live With Cancer

Tom Brokaw was known to many as a high profile journalist, but he’s added a new description to his previous title; now he also identifies as a cancer patient. After being diagnosed with multiple myeloma, he faces a five year life expectancy. The chemotherapy treatments have currently put the cancer into remission, though spinal surgery has shaved several inches off his height. On the advice of his doctors, he appears to be in good health, and continues to participate in life activities both personal and professional.
