It’s good to study this because exercising too much can be very dangerous. The body needs to be active but too much can exhaust it, and we become less flexible and able to work hard later in life.

Key Takeaways:

  • A recent study of triathlon’s death during the time frame of 2006-2015 has demonstrated that fatalities occurs mostly in males ages 45-50.
  • The greatest number of deaths occurs at the end of the first part of the event which is the swimming leg.
  • More than half of the autopsies in these deaths have shown that athletes had some kind of previous cardiovascular condition.
