The Incredible Story Of How This Man Lost 200 Pounds

The Incredible Story Of How This Man Lost 200 Pounds

Kyle Brown-Latham was teased from a young age about his weight. As an adult, his weight fluctuated considerably. An accident at age 30 left him with debilitating spine injuries and a 95-pound weight gain. Hitting 400 pounds was the wake-up call Kyle needed. He educated himself about nutrition and began eating protein and vegetables instead of pizza and soda. Next, Kyle joined a gym. He began with cardio and eventually added in strength training. Kyle’s next goal is to become a personal trainer so that he can share the gift of health and fitness with others.

Key Takeaways:

  • Kyle Brown-Latham remembers being the “funny fat kid” and being teased for his weight as a child.
  • After he reached 400 pounds as an adult, he decided to change once and for all.
  • Today, Latham shows off his buff 197 pound physique.

“When I started going to the gym and working out, I would go and get a lot of looks and it really bothered me a lot, but I’m glad that I didn’t let it push me away from it,” Latham says. “When I started actually talking to those people, I found out they weren’t judging me—they were looking at me with respect.”
