Americans are living longer, thanks to advances that help increase life expectancy. This is causing a problem though. Middle aged Americans are not the healthiest, so the greater our life expectancy, the greater this age group lives. Since they are not at the same level of health, any diseases or chronic illness have to be dealt with for longer. This can be helped though. Researchers have found that exercising daily can cut the risk of dying by a significant amount. The exercise can be as simple as walking 20 – 30 mins, a few times a week. So if you or a loved one are middle aged, time to get off the couch and get some fresh air. It will help and you won’t have to stress so much.
