The anabolic window is a time after your workout that is believed to be the ideal feeding time in order to promote maximum muscle growth. This window most believe is between 2 and 3 hours post-workout. The recommended average protein to consume is one gram per pound of body weight. There are many skeptics that debate the time and amount but as long as you are consuming enough protein in a reasonable time after your workout you should see gains.
