A new study shows that those who eat healthy in their 30s are more fit when they reach retirement age. In the study, those who consistently ate the healthiest diets performed much better in fitness tests than those who had eaten junk food, having performed as well as someone 10 years younger. Those with the least healthy diets face two times the risk of falls, fractures and hospitalization in later life. Improving your diet in middle age can have significant benefit later in life.
