Staying Fit Isn’t A New Year’s Resolution For These Hunter-Gatherers

Researchers at Hunter College finds that hunter gatherer tribe the Hadza has prolonged light to moderate exercise instead of infrequent bursts. Researchers used GPS and heart monitors to assess the activity level of men and women in the Hadza tribe. The Hadsaz spend about 135 minutes a day in a state of moderate to vigorous activity. This along with their cardiovascular profile give insight into heart health.
