I Stopped Eating Lunch At My Desk Every Day, And This Is What Happened

The author of this piece is summarizing her success with taking a lunch break away from her desk every day. At first, she was unsure of whether it would really be a good idea, because she enjoys work and doesn’t like to leave the desk when in the middle of a task. But she soon realized that getting up and walking around not only helps digest your food, but also provides a psychological benefit. She was able to better focus on her afternoon tasks, and was able to feel like she was living in the moment. She doesn’t see herself stopping this routine any time soon, because she feels healthier in both her mind, and her body.
