I Lost 100 Pounds Trail Running With My Daughter

Yusuke Kirimoto used to be 100 pounds overweight. Kirimoto is originally from Japan, but grew up in the United States where junk and comfort foods caused him to pack on the pounds. He became depressed and his family would make fun out of him whenever he visited his home country. After realizing that normal activity such as trying to pick up a pen from the floor made him out of breath, he made some lifestyle changes starting with his diet. Fruit, yogurt, and vegetables became a regular part of his meals. But it was working out with his 10 year-old daughter that inspired him to get active, too. Kirimoto and his daughter go on walks, ride bicycles, and run together. They set goals to make exercise fun and challenging for each other and today, Kirimoto is 100 pounds slimmer and a lot happier.
