Your cells aging is what causes your whole body to age. They can only replenish themselves so many times before signs of wear are seen and eventually death comes. If you exercise a lot you can combat signs of aging by at least nine years, though, and many want to do this. This is going to be a lot of hard work for you but it is doable. You can look and feel younger if you just work out.
