High-Intensity Workouts: Good at Any Age

There is now an exercise for seniors, not just safe but also recommended. It is called HIIT. High Intensity Interval Training. Studies say that after a 3 to 5 minuted warm up, then 30 to 60 seconds of High Intensity Training is great for cardio, strength and endurance. This can include running, swimming or bicycling. Strength is increased by up to 10.9 percent, endurance up to almost 33 percent and regular activity to an amazing 107 percent.
