Getting fit and staying fit at forty or even well after fifty starts now. As we age our body goes through changes caused from how we have lived not only physically but what we eat as well. A balanced diet now and healthy exercise on a daily basis can help to reduce high cholesterol, heart disease and other ailments when we are older. Light weight training may also be preferred at older ages as muscle and joint aches become more prevalent from the repeated use for years prior.
