There are many myths about exercise after one hits an older age that are easily dispelled with the right information. Many older adults feel as though age prevents them from exercising in a way that maintains or even shows improvement upon previous athletic ability, however this simply isn’t true. Some of these myths, such as stretching before exercising or exercising through pain can actually lead to a higher chance for injury. In short, it’s never too late to try and reach a new athletic goal.
