Brains of ‘Super-Agers’ Show Age-Related Cognitive Decline May Not Be Inevitable

Typically, it has been widely accepted that as we age we lose a significant amount of memory. However, in recent studies some researches found that there are some people who have a significantly lower amount of memory loss and they are calling them “super-agers”. They possess physical traits in their brain that prevent the extent of memory loss those without those traits have. For example, those that have a thicker cortex or more nerve connections than average.
