Blokes who get fit after 40 ‘more than halve their risk of deadly stroke’

If you have been putting off getting fit, a new study reports that men who get fit after 40 experience the same benefits as those that have been exercising their whole lives. Exercise after 40 can cut your risk of stroke by over 50 percent. Several people suffer stroke and live with the long term consequences. Getting healthy at any age can decrease your risk of stroke and death as well as the costs and disability.
