A Baby Boomer With Parkinson’s Reports Back From Front Lines Of Aging

When Michael Kinsley was in his 40’s, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. He is the founder of Slate and the former editor of Harper’s and The New Republic. Living with Parkinson’s disease for 20 years has given Kinsley a unique perspective into the aging process. He writes about it in his new book, Old Age A Beginner’s Guide. His target audience are the baby boomers, as they are just now entering that phase of their lives. Parkinson’s lead Kinsley into the process of aging earlier than his peers. He uses his experiences to guide others through the process. His hope is that we can do it better than the generation before us.
